Social elections?
Every four years, employees in large companies go to the polls to choose new employee representatives. They then have a mandate to negotiate about the wages and working conditions of their colleagues with the employer.
Companies where trade unions perform well and many people go to the polls also perform very well themselves. Wages are higher, social protection is better, and people experience more job satisfaction. That's what our trade union also aims to achieve at KU Leuven
