Which services do we offer specifically?
1. Collective Bargaining
Whether it concerns individual or collective problems, negotiation is in the ACV's blood. We represent your interests at company level and per entity: East-West or Leuven-Brussels-Antwerp-Limburg. In this way we fight for the best results, for example if you are confronted with insecurity, social injustice or forced contracts. The relationship between an employee and the employer must be in balance in order to avoid unilateral decisions. Together we strengthen your interest.
2. Individual and professional support
As an employee you have a lot of specific questions. On our Working at KU Leuven page you will find the answer to frequently asked questions. Is the answer not listed? Our team of delegates is your dedicated support in all questions and dossiers. What can we help you with? This ranges from guiding you through agreements at KU Leuven and explaining your rights and obligations, to reading contracts or helping you formulate responses. For matters related to employment law, you can count on the professional support of ACV Puls. What we do not do is offer supportive tax advice. Discover all our member benefits.
3. Legal Aid
Members can make use of the legal support of the ACV in conflicts and proceedings before the labor court. In case of disputes before the commercial court or the court of first instance, ACV members bear the costs of the process themselves. We do provide a list of lawyers with whom we negotiated favorable rates.
